Sleep Guidance for Newborns, Babies, Toddlers and Preschoolers

Vintage Baby Stroller

Sleep in early childhood is not something to be forced or perfected. It unfolds gradually, shaped by development, temperament, connection, rhythm and trust.

Sleep challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when nights are fragmented and days feel exhausting. Whether your family is navigating frequent waking, short naps, early rising, sleep regressions, or changing routines, support can bring greater clarity and calm.

My approach works gently with your child’s development and unique needs, creating sleep foundations that support rest, connection, and family wellbeing.

What is Sleep Training

What is baby and child sleep training?

Supporting an infant, toddler or child's sleep is about nurturing a sense of rhythm, routine, security, and trust around sleep and rest. Through warmth, presence, love and gentle guidance, parents can help their child gradually feel comfortable settling into sleep in their own independent way.

What is my approach to paediatric sleep support?

I use a gentle, structured approach that respects developmental stages and your parenting values. I do not use harsh or abrupt sleep training methods and do not support the 'cry it out' method. Instead, I focus on healthy routines, connection, and respectful sustainable adjustments.

What is the role of the baby/child sleep coach?

We are expected to educate families or caregivers on: sleep hygiene, the biological necessity of sleep, safe sleep practices, keeping a sleep log, setting boundaries. We are there to hold space, encourage and support.

Sleep and Family Rhythm

In early childhood, rhythm offers orientation and security.
Sleep guidance is approached gently, in alignment with developmental readiness and the unique temperament of each child. Please note: I do not support the ‘Cry it Out’ Method.
