This Code of Ethics underpins all services, policies, and guidance provided by GENTLE RHYTHMS, including Birth Doula support, Prenatal and Postpartum care, Paediatric Sleep Consulting, and Nutritional Counselling.

All support is offered within a non-medical scope and is grounded in evidence-informed, developmentally respectful practices. Families are always encouraged to seek guidance from their trusted healthcare providers where needed.

Rather than directing or prescribing, GENTLE RHYTHMS offers guidance that allows parents to feel informed, confident, and empowered to make the decisions that feel right for their child and family.

The wellbeing, safety, and dignity of both child and parent remain at the heart of all support provided.
 

Confidentiality and Trust

A safe and trusting space is essential. All personal information and shared experiences are treated with the utmost care, respect, and confidentiality, in line with Swiss data protection standards.
 

Honesty, Transparency, and Good Faith

Communication is always open, clear, and honest. Services are offered in good faith, with transparency around what is included, what can be expected, and the natural limitations of personalised support.
 

Respecting Boundaries and Capacity

To provide thoughtful and attentive care, services are offered within defined boundaries, timeframes, and availability. As support is personalised and intentionally limited, availability, particularly for Birth Doula and Postpartum care, may be restricted.

Support is most meaningful when it is collaborative. Families are gently encouraged to engage with the process in a way that feels manageable and supportive. Every child and situation is unique, and outcomes will naturally vary.
